Tambien llamado "El Rey León", es un musical de Disey estrenado hace ya más de diez años (1997), y que sigue todavía en cartelera. El comositor del musical es Elton John y la directora Julie Taymor.

Las principales estrellas originales del show han sido: Jason Raize como Simba, John Vickery interpretando a Scar, Samuel E. Wright como Mufasa Heather Headley que interpreta a Nala y Tsidii Le Loka como Rafiki.
